Wim Raymaekers

Wim is a senior advisor with 35 years of experience in the payments industry.

He is known for his in-depth knowledge and has a proven track record to bring about innovation at scale though collaboration, offering strategic insights as well as pragmatic implementation skills.

His areas of expertise include digital assets, cross-border payments, and corporate treasury and cash management. Wim is a former Digital Assets Strategy Director at Swift, recognised by the industry as “the father” of GPI, and a published author.  Prior to Paylume, Wim worked in payments at BNP Paribas and accounting at a high tech corporate.
